Grade A cathode is the delivery standard of the London Metal Exchange copper contract: cathode meeting BS EN 1978:1998 Cu-CATH-1, traded in 25-tonne lots with physical delivery through about 400 LME warehouses in 32 locations. Cathode that does not meet the standard trades off the LME contract.
